Development of community youth football

The Silundika Family Trust is committed to the development of community youth football. To continue that commitment, the trust has pledged to equip Ward 6 community teams with jerseys and other miscellaneous items on a rotational basis. Gala Football Team were the first recipients of a kit donated during the groundbreaking ceremony. The occasion marked the beginning of a new partnership where team members will in turn volunteer their time at the cultural community centre whenever they’re available. The same arrangement will be worked out with neighboring community teams such as Kungubo, Ntoli, Manguba and Goho. The TGSCCC management committee is exploring all kinds of mutually beneficial partnerships with local communities in order to expedite the construction phase at the centre.
